Mpressive Exposure and Friars Club will host the Back to School Clothes Drive Fashion Show at the Friars Club on Sunday, July 29, at 3 p.m. There will be light refreshments, food, door prizes, free donated clothes and school supplies for the participants and the attendees. More than 100 people are expected to be in attendance to watch kids in need of clothes and models rip the runway in new or gently used fashions. Drop off new or gently used clothes and school supplies at the Friars club 4300 Vine St. Cincinnati, Ohio starting June 20 from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. every day.
“It’s amazing to see the confidence of the kids go up from the time they first come in for training, to the time they are in front of the crowd posing!” says volunteer model Ra’ja Seldon.
The donated clothes will be featured in the Back to School Clothes Drive Fashion Show! Everyone does not have the privilege of back to school shopping so kids in need and model participants k-12 will get to keep all the clothes they rip the runway in to ensure their confidence is transferred to the hallways of their school. Donations are accepted at the door as well.
This is an annual show that hopes to provide the youth with skills in walking and acting with confidence and self-love on and off the runway. Tickets are $10. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or having your child participate contact Mpressive Exposure at MpressiveExposure@gmail.com.
